On-Call IT Field Technician (Independent Contractor)
When our lead technician can’t cover a job, you’ll be our go-to help — flexible work, you accept only the jobs that fit your schedule.
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot and repair Windows and Mac computers
- Remove viruses and malware, perform tune-ups
- Replace and upgrade hardware (screens, batteries, RAM, storage)
- Set up networks, Wi-Fi, and printers
- Give friendly, professional service at customers’ homes and small businesses
What you need:
- 2+ years of IT support or computer repair experience
- Your own tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently
Details:
- 1099 independent contractor — on-call, flexible, no guaranteed hours
- Based in New Windsor, NY — serving Newburgh, Middletown, Cornwall, the Hudson Valley, and the NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island)
- Pay: $45 per hour on-site
Managed IT Support Technician (Independent Contractor) — Medical & Dental Offices
We’re expanding into managed IT services for medical and dental practices — so when a practice calls, we always have a skilled tech ready.
What you’ll do:
- Provide on-site and remote IT support for small medical and dental offices
- Maintain workstations, networks, printers, and Wi-Fi
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly
- Respond promptly during business hours and communicate clearly with office staff
- Work with discretion in sensitive patient environments
What you need:
- 3+ years of IT support experience, ideally with small businesses or offices
- Strong networking and troubleshooting skills (Windows, printers, Wi-Fi)
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Your own tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check
- Familiarity with HIPAA-regulated environments a plus
Details:
- 1099 independent contractor — flexible, on-call scheduling
- Based in New Windsor, NY — serving Newburgh, Middletown, Cornwall, the Hudson Valley, and the NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island)
- Pay: $60 per hour on-site
